More links for your holiday shopping

It's hard to believe we're already back in the Christmas season. As usual, we're thinking of the best gifts for all of our gardening friends out there. Here's some links to get you started:

Dirtworks.net sells organic and natural fertilizer and pest control products for the lawn, home, garden, and farm. They offer a variety of products that would make good Christmas gifts as well. How about a composter or some educational board games for the kids?

NewEnglandNatural.com sells natural soaps, salves, shampoo, local Vermont made honey and maple syrup and all kinds of other goodies made in and around New England. Looking for something for your special pet friend? They also offer natural dog treats.

Does your Mom need a new mailbox? Visit Mailbox and Beyond for some ideas. They also offer address plaques, door knockers, bird feeders, and many other gifts for the home and garden.

For our U.K. friends looking for landscaping advice, try out landscape-service.com. Located in Preston, Lancashire, this company designs and builds commercial and private gardens and driveways.

Looking for something that won't cost you anything but an investment of time? How about a promise to provide some landscaping to a friend or family member this year? Do It Yourself Landscape Design provides lots of great resources as well as beautiful pictures of projects to get you started. They offer a free e-newsletter as well - as you visit their site, the box pops up asking you if you'd like to subscribe.

Last but not least, Leopoldo's Garden in Barcelona offers the ability to grow vegetables or flowers in areas where you are restricted for space. The planting beds are put on a raised platform that can be wheeled from one area to another. What a great idea especially for those who don't have a yard or are restricted in their movements.

Happy Gardening and Happy Holidays. See you in 2007!
